I played a game that altered the reality of my world and afforded me certain abilities. I can effectively die, but I will not stay dead unless I deserve it, or in the case of extreme heroism.

Obviously, that's not something I wish to put to the test on this ship.

It's difficult to say, exactly, who created the game, only that it has existed in some iteration since the beginning of time. It's meant, ultimately to destroy worlds with the ultimate purpose of birthing an entire new universe. A small price to pay.
